About the event
Come and celebrate the start of the holiday season at Dover's Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony and Marketplace in JFK Park on Thursday, December 1st at 6pm. This is a free event for the whole family to enjoy. Listen to holiday songs performed by the Dover High School Chorus and Brass Ensemble, shop the vendor tents, have a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. Join Mayor Carolyn Blackman and the Board of Aldermen to wait for Santa & Mrs. Claus to arrive and help light the holiday tree! Santa & Mrs. Claus will stay for a visit with the children to hear how good they've been before heading back to the North Pole. We hope to see everyone there!
